    Musician Phạm Duy was more pitiful rather than being blamed.  His floating life though himiliate, human and vicissitudes.  He lived irreponsibility and had only one position ambition that is to compose the valuable music.
    His spokes was the same as poet Tú Xương (like 'A teacher, a girl, a bitch').  From 50 years ago, no one considered him as a 'precious people'.  They loved him because he offered them many immortal songs, and go with them on a long road of their lives together, 'cried laughed with the fate of the country'.
     He was never a tool od communism.  In 5 years under the anti- French Resistance, he had never wrote a song hailed a leader of communism, which only hailed the heroes martyrs against invasion.  When the fox tall poked until he dropped them to come back the city.
     He was never a tool of dictatorship.  In 25 years of living in national policy, he never made a song of worship leader does.  The song 'rural development' are all produced by one author servants rather than by a professional music to caress the loneliness of several million people into exile.  
    The 'return home' his only inpiry to his personal reputation, there is no sgni-ficant impact to the anti-communist spirit of the masses.  There is nobody else
'national reconciliation' with VC [Việt Cộng] because Phạm Duy was repatriated, Reconciliation would never occur, in other words, only when the passive reconciliation communism dissolved completely.
     Also, only the force of the masses in the country are capable of dissolving them. Then rolls up too concerned about the strategic 'national reconciliation' of them.  It died shortly after birth.  Grilled should share a hatred Vc giancing down then rinse in the musician as Phạm Duy, from Cong Phung Khánh Ly, Lệ Thu, Chế Linh etc.  There is something 'reluctantly' in the back of them.  (as noted above.)
    Furthermore, they do noy bring home dollars to help more foreign currency for VC (as some merchants and traveling who enjoy the theater) but also to burn of some their foreign currency. (territorial compensation in dollars.) By sympathetic to them (sympathy does not mean promoting other people return) as long as they just friendly people, just sing for people to hear the songs that we accept and do not mumble, cattle violation to the anti-communist spirit.  

    The reasons people love musician Phạm Duy's song

     1/ He is a musician admired by millions of Vietnamese people from the younger generation to the older generation, from budget-minded to the intellingtsia, from wartime to peacetime, from communism to liberation, from dictatorship to a democratic government, from domestic to overseas.
     2/ Sympathies of the masses for his every complex.  Many commended. many blame.  Many had recently criticized compliment.  Many have criticized this commendation. Many people before this dawn compliment Vietnam Communist faction, after half a century of hatred he now bribed him as bait for the guise of 'national reconciliation'.
     Liberals, over half a century, ..., now abandoned him because they think he was bribed ennemy.
    These demonstrated that (merit- blame, love-hate, bribe- abandonrment) are commonplace.  People are not random (but ulterior reasons) atributed to him.  He did not deliberately caused.  Entrance spokeman clumsy and his indulgent lifestyle plays an important role in their judgment.
     3/ But his works, from folk songs, love songs, military 'ca', 'ca' director, pediatric cases, etc had a unique value: bring sleeping supply gamut of ethnic harmony and inspiring lyric of folk song.
     4/ Musical poems is a great skill.  The media has listed him in every 'witels' of this music.  Although popular poem verbatum (as of Huy Thuong) or just grab the poet (as 'Flute Tiantai '[Thiên Thai] of poet Thế Lữ) he also make poetry added value.  
     5/ Personal like he has a flew blemishes.  He lived under the loose sexual plaeasure, despite the consequences (as in Julie Quang and Khánh Ngọc matter) makes disdain and moral opponents exploited.

     6/ The love of poeple, love the country, love the water of his works are very visible. A false love can not do is make love songs, love 'Hoài Hương', jerichow, ON Central, Mother Gio Linh, Remember, The Wounded, Husband Wife 'Quê', 'Quê' Baby, Return date, Path 'Cái Quan', Mother Vietnam., etc ...

     1/ The first period from 1950 to 2015 

     When he left the City of Resistance, VC has criticized him as a reactionary.

    There is a remarkable son: he was not a  leader of communism adulation and does not speak to anyone violating animal of South Vietnamese regime during his 8 years. (former vice president Nguyễn cao Kỳ have committed this way).
    I would like to summarize the altitude of Pham Dụy in a cursory question: when composing is dedicated to enjoy playing it, when they shell make continous speech.  Duyên Anh [writer] has narrated that the Phạm Duy, while fralicking with friends, had said in bottle; " Who is stupid like my music.  We have been doing in the toilet".  Maybe he wrote bad songs in the toilet.

      Those who heard to K.N. [Khánh Ngọc] Meanwhile sing instant sympathy for the 'unusual love story' of the two.  After the 'incident' that I no longer hear K.N. sing anymore.  Newspapers said she was abroad. [now living in USA]. It is sorrowful.  Due 'unusual love story' was that Vietnam has more modern music is a timeless song 'Kiep Do'
 it in love. Unbelievably good and evil was 'mutual'.

     Sex start from the girl Huế, rather from his girls Đồng Khánh Huế. In 1953, on evening of artist Vũ đức Duy Phạm Duy musicians bring a family visit to Germany.  From Supply relatives --mother of former Emperor Bảo Đại.

From her nephew to accompany gim to sing to entertain. X.M. came from a family activity Huế art, beautiful, strong vocals, she is famous for foreign song Tiger.

     Students struggle Huế quarter X.M. see her as 'comrade' of students. Then, each time the Huế Phạm Duy 'Trường ca' introduce 'Path Quan Cái' [Đường cái quan], Vietnam Popu- lation music I have invited X.M. sing accompanied illustrate the talk of Phạm Duy. Then, in the opinion of the student said Phạm Duy and X.M. fall in love.

    In my opinion, no one everywhere in the country Vietnam had this woman lived in a cultural environment such profound poetic whole. Therefore Hàn Mặc Tử [poet]  asked
 " Why id not you visit Vỹ dạ village?" Almost Vietnamese writers, musicians dreamed of Huế, dreamed of a love story in Huế.

    Phạm Duy love Huế and he was loved. The unhappy love stories would follow him to be buried deeply into the ground.  As long as his true love songs are still loved, still living with Ngự Mountain [núi Ngự] and Perfume River [sông Hương] his love stories in Huế will become a history of love.

                                We reach the American River at dusk, in time
                                to savor the almost-fullness of the moon
                                The river repeats the lunar white like rythme
                                But interrupts its image.  Like a spoon

                                 stirring the peaceful liquid that broke it in two,
                                 The swirful current scowls, yet has to swallow
                                 the while dose as it dissolves. Wet silver scatters

                                 dark reflections making off with silt slurry,
                                 erases remembrances of egrets in trees.  This fever 's
                                 not unheard of: bright cold surge in a hurry

                                 In early June.  Black oak trunks-floogate levers
                                 the warm gusts tug-unleash crowbursts that skitter
                                 past.  Then a great blue heron, pterodactyl of worry.

              Someone's  hair  in the wind flutters a thousand miles --
                      No doubt it will rain this afternoon.            
                      One hundred drops of rain, one thousand drop of memory;
                      I have been sad ever since I left you.

                      Do these sad eyes of long age seem strange?
                      Do they look as at an unfamilar face ?
                      Returning home after years of aimless drifting,
                      Is there a bit of your love left for me?

                      Every drop of mist in your eyes ,
                      Every stand ofhair cool nad dark as the river,
                      Though the  years have stolen your beauty ,
                      Still your sad eyes of long ago remain.

                      I have wandered from horizon to horizon ,
                      But still after many years feel my soul not yet old.
                      Is there any of the old love
                      You still keep in your heart, or has it gone away ?

                      The hibiscus covered fence which unwillingly  bid farewell
                      I 've not forgotten in so many days of roaming,

                     I am writing a poem in the wintry gale
               Where to send it to?  There, can you guess?
               That rosy-checked, the purple-scarf frail?
              -No, buddy! It is about my heartlefy distress.

               Cold wind blows in that place, this evening
              -Homeland in swril -- constant in the rain
               With clayish ground old mom's feet cling;
               Palm-leaf hat and coat by the bamboo chain.

               Under the ragged thatcked roof in mire,
               Smoke from humid fireplace makes her glum,
               Back home, her man warms hands on the fire;
               His wet coat drips from the bamboo column.

               Then the lamp is lit! And the dinner served.
               Always are pickles, sauce, same and again,
               How fire this evening is felt useless, unnerved;
               Listening to the wind causes my heart to pain.
